Direct Consent 
The purpose of Direct Consent is to promote the tools and ideology
to give all citizens direct responsibility for their government. Regardless of
the debates, arguments, good intentions, etc., in the final analyses there is
only one person responsible for government. You can meet that person when you
look in the mirror to comb your hair, shave your face, put on your makeup, etc.
Governments must be made to come to the citizens and gain direct consent from
the citizens for Governments actions.
There are a number of reasons for Direct Consent. I’m
sure you can think of more!!
- We
have the communications capacity through the Internet to determine what we
have for government. The tool to promote liberty is here. If we don't use
this tool we abdicate our liberty, freedom, democracy and power to those
whose designs are entirely selfish.
- The
world is full of despots, bureaucrats, politicians, vested interests and
other self-motivated persons who pursue their agenda at the expense of the
citizens. We in America have a serious problem in this matter. Politicians
need money for their election campaigns, vested interests supply that money
and the elected are bought and paid for before they take office. The rest of
the American citizens are left without representation. This will not change
without constitutional reform. Congress in this matter is nothing more then
“a sex maniac lose in a cathouse with a credit card”.
- We
are in a time of rapid change. The speed of this change will
accelerate dramatically in the future. Technology change (We will genetically
alter ourselves in the near future). Economic change ( Free trade and technological
change are happening). Political change ( I don't like it, but we
are becoming the policeman of the world). Social change (We can talk to or
know other people in other cultures daily). Environmental change (The human
species is altering the environment). We need to develop the institutions that will
help us adapt and adjust to change. We need control
over this change to guarantee it will be used for our benefit.
- Socialism,
liberalism is a mental disease. We have the idea government can solve all
our problems. In our rapidly changing world socialism, liberalism
is as deadly to the mind as heroin, cocaine, alcoholism etc. Socialism,
liberalism denies us an understanding of the real world. We must put ourselves
in a position to directly control what we do collectively through government
and still maintain our individual rights, responsibilities and freedom.
The following are definitions of Direct
Vote and Final Consumption Taxation.
- All
governmental bodies must post all laws or legislation passed by those
governmental bodies on the Internet. The bill and its parts must be posted.
- A
select period of time will be allowed for the registered voters to vote on
the bill and its parts. Only the parts of the bill or the bill that is
approved by the voters will become law. This voting can take place on
the Internet.
- Any
person or group may post a bill on the Internet. If a number of voters equal
to 3% of the registered voters approve of the bill it must be brought before
the governmental body for debate. The governmental body may reject or pass
the bill. However, the registered voters must vote the bill, its parts
and/or its various versions even if the governmental body rejects the bill.
The citizens demand the right to determine what we have for
laws, government, economy, society, etc. We even demand the right to make our
own mistakes and be responsible for those mistakes.

- Final
Consumption Taxation - (Sale tax) is there to motivate the citizens within a
governmental sphere. When you go grocery shopping and you spent $100 for
food and the checkout clerk adds $5 for local taxes, $10 for State taxes and
$25 for federal taxes the garbage will come out of our heads about the cost of
government. Furthermore, if we have the power of Direct Vote we must have a
control on us or we will vote all the citizens a government check and
bankrupt the country. Final Consumption Taxation is necessary to make the
citizens of a governmental sphere responsible for what they buy collectively
through government. Government is necessary therefore taxes are necessary.
Sorry about that!!! However, we must control ourselves.
- There
is only one tax. Final Consumption Taxation, all other taxes must be
repealed. No property taxes, no business taxes, no liquor taxes, no excise
taxes, no other taxes at all. No way for the government to hide taxes from
the citizens. (There may be one exception, tariffs. We may need tariffs to
force free trade with other nations.)
- The
governmental sphere’s accounting system must include all accounts that the
citizens will be required to pay for. There can be no costs hidden from the
citizens.
- The
argument against Final Consumption Taxation will be that it is a regressive
tax. The poor people will have to pay a larger percentage of their income in taxes. Governments find ways
to tax the citizen so they do not know they are paying the tax. This is true
of our present system in America. A business producing goods and services
has as one of their costs, taxes. They pass this cost along to the consumer
in the price of the good or service they sell. The final consumer is already
paying the taxes we just don’t see it. The poor should have no reason to
complain, as their potential political power will increase with the Direct Vote.
